Loving God. Loving One Another.
It is an honor for us to have you as our "webguest." However, we would like for you to not just be a guest but a brother/sister in Christ. Yet, if
you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you do not belong to the family of God. Belonging to God's family is more than just
saying a few words, it is truly understanding who Christ is, what He did for you, and your need of Him as your Savior. Below is a simple way to
understand these truths.
A – Admit
You must admit that you are a sinner. The Bible says we all are sinners and without Jesus as our Savior, we will spend an eternity in hell
(Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23).
B – Believe
You must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. You must believe He died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and arose the third day
as the Scriptures had prophesied (1 Corinthians 15:3-4; John 3:16).
C – Confess
You must confess your sins and trust Jesus Christ as your Savior. You must depend on Him only for your salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans
6:23; Romans 10:9-10; Romans 10:13).
If you would like to pray and ask Jesus to save you, you can use the following prayer as an example.
Dear Lord, I know I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sin. I believe You died on the cross for my sins, and I ask You to forgive me of my sins.
I ask You to save me, make me whole, and be my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
If there is any way that we can be of service to you, please contact us by phone, email, or in person. Once again, thank you so much for being
our special "webguest"!
If God leads you to make Ebenezer Baptist Church your church home, we may receive members in one of three ways: (1) Our membership
consists of persons who profess faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and present themselves for scriptural baptism and church
membership, -or- (2) By vote of this church, a person may be received by transfer of letter from another Baptist church of like faith and order, -or-
(3) By vote of this church, a person may be received upon a statement to this church as in circumstances that prohibit a regular letter from
another church. During our time of invitation, you are encouraged to respond as God leads you.
